Control over Quality of Water Discharged by Consumers into Sewerage Systems
It is told about methods of the improvement of efficiency of one of the Vodokanal's sources of revenue - control over industrial consumers. The use of new methods of manage ment makes it possible to obtain considerable financial results at minimal investments. The main method is elimination of unreasonable resources consumption. The normative-legal and methodical regulation of this process is disclosed; examples from the real practice are presented. This information is useful for managers of middle and higher structural units and for the staff of proper subdivisions.

Studies of Efficiency of Reagent Techniques of Fluorides Removal from Natural Water
A brief analysis of the techniques of defluoridation of natural water used for potable water supply is made. Results of the comparative laboratory tests in the removal of fluoride-ions from artesian wells water with the use of aluminium sulfate and alumosilicious coagulant-flocculant AKKF as well as the dependence of efficiency of fluorides removal on the reagent dose at different pH values are presented.
